Meet the Cañada region
In Huautla de Jiménez, the traditional huipil is distinguished by cross-stitch embroidery with flowers and birds, especially in turquoise blue. Fuchsia ribbons, a tulle collar, a shawl, two braids woven with black ribbon, a gourd bowl with flower petals, and leather huaraches complete the ensemble.
