The story

La Guelaguetza 2024 brought thousands of neighbors together to experience the living traditions of Oaxaca in Kaysville.

The 2024 festival invited Utah audiences to encounter Oaxaca's eight regions through performance, clothing, music, and food.

Public support and community partnerships helped keep the event free and accessible while regional television, radio, and news coverage carried its story beyond the park.
